The Coyote and the Fox:

Part 3First ChapterItzcoyotl, or Itzco is from my Coyote and Fox AU based on the Utapri Shining Live Mystic in Training event series. She is shipped with Shonoshin, (Syo Kurusu's character) a kitsune who is the guardian of the Otoharu family.
On a seemingly normal day he encounters an unknown and unfamiliar animal on the shrine grounds. Shonoshin senses that this is no ordinary animal, but a supernatural being like himself. He pursues the animal afraid that it might cause harm to Otoharu or other humans. It manages to escape him but later reappears after Shonoshin explains the encounter to Otoharu hoping for some answers. Otoharu recognizes that it is a coyote, an animal only native to the Americas. Suddenly, the creature shifts into a more human form, excluding its sandy brown tail and ears. This was Itzcoyotl, a daughter of the Aztec god Huehuecoyotl. It seems that she was temporarily banished from Mexico for pulling one too many pranks on Quetzalcoatl, who grew tired of her and her father’s antics. He conjured the east wind and blew her far enough away to give himself peace for a while. Itzcoyotl is now faced with being in a foreign land for the first time. Shonoshin and Otoharu agree to house her at the shrine until she can go back home.

About Itzcoyotl
Itzco is a phenomenal shapeshifter like her father, as well as an excellent storyteller, singer, and dancer. She is happy to share her culture with Shonoshin and the rest of his yokai friends, and happy to learn about Japanese culture as well. Itzco is extremely lax and enjoys lazing around and partying with humans. She plays pranks on everyone and teases Shonoshin about his ties to a human family. She is very interested in Japan since she has never left Mexico before, but is often homesick and wonders when she’ll be able to return or if her father will send someone to take her home or take her home himself.

Family
Itzcoyotl was born to a Charra woman (Ranch woman, equestrian) who worked and lived on a ranch in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. Manuela Josefina Espinoza Barrera was a woman as tough as nails, from killing snakes with her bare hands, to rounding up cattle by herself. She met Huehuecoyotl as a young woman, but it took a lot to impress her. The two fell in love eventually and soon Itzcoyotl was born. Because this was the 1800s Manuela was looked down upon for being a single mother. She didn’t let the rumors or sneers stop her from caring for her daughter. Manuela died tragically when Itzco was still a pup. She was murdered by bandits that came to steal her cattle leaving Itzco in her father’s care. All Itzco has to remember her by is an old photograph Huehuecoyotl gave her and the stories he told of her.
After her mother's death, Itzco spent most of her time with her father learning to shapeshift and tagging along to his meetings with the other gods as well as playing with her hundreds of siblings. Itzco’s prized possession from her mother is a folklórico dress made especially for her.
Huehuecoyotl
The Aztec coyote god who is associated with the arts, music, dance, mischief, song, and unhibititated sexuality. Huehue means "very old"in Nahuatl so his full name translates too "very old coyote".
Huehuecoyotl is the father of Itzcoyotl and a renowned prankster, though most of his pranks backfire and cause him more trouble than his victims. As such, his thousands of children take after him in causing trouble for anyone unfortunate enough to be around them. Itzcoyotl is said to be the worst of her kin and causes the most problems for the other gods. Huehuecoyotl is known for throwing great parties and can shapeshift easily. He loves and cares for all his children but Itzco has a special place in his heart because she is the most like him.

Ophelia is from a fantasy AU I created involving almost the entire cast of Utapri and shipped with Syo Kurusu. I obviously do not own Utapri but this AU is completely and 100% mine I don't mind if other utapri self shippers want to join in on this AU but please be respectful since I put a lot of time and effort into creating every character's race/role in the story. (basically don't change any of the utapri characters in my AUs race or class)

AU Lore

Witvasy is a land like any other. Humans, Orcs, Elves, and other species that live in relative harmony. The only difference is the existence of two powerful fairies. From the Fairy Haven in the south is the Estival Vita, an elemental who controls the Earth, Flora, and Fire. To the Northern Fairy Haven is the Hiemal Aer, who controls Water, Ice, and Air. When the two are joined in union the full extent of their powers will manifest. The two will then begin a nomadic life journeying across Witvasy aiding the people. Both the Vita and Aer are determined by birth. The child will glow gold (Estival Vita), or blue (Hiemal Aer). Each ruler also has their own entourage of four guardians. These eight guardians are from different races and are determined by an eight-pointed star shaped birthmark. It is believed that the Estival Vita and Heimal Aer were once a singular deity who split themself in two and lives on through the reincarnations of the powerful fae. The existence of the Vita and Aer has spanned thousands of years, and they have all been different from each other. Some were kind, and just. Others were cruel and selfish. There have been cases of cheating, abuse, suicide and even murder in some of these unions causing both Havens to hold grudges towards their polar neighbor.

About Ophelia

The current Estival Vita, and a woman who lives day by day. Ophelia is extremely easy going but gets angry when she has to break up fights between her guardians. She loves her freedom and sneaks off whenever she can. As carefree as she is, Ophelia still has a strong sense of duty and accepted her role and marriage when she was a child. She simply wants to live freely until she can’t anymore. Ophelia may seem very level headed, but is quite anxious about her position knowing how massive her predecessor’s mistakes were and how that puts her in a negative light. She is also worried about her fiancé since his predecessors weren’t great either. Ophelia uses her powers to fight when necessary, otherwise she uses a bow.
